ADDITIONAL INFO : The Sd Kfz 223 was used as a command and communication vehicle. It was fitted with a powerful radio (and frame antenna) over the machine-gun turret. The vehicle was crewed by 3, a driver, machine gunner and a radio operator. It was produced up until early 1944, production ceasing in favour of half-tracked radio vehicles. Between 1935 and 1944, 550 Sd Kfz 223 were produced.
